Dear Friends:
We are asking for your help and continued support as this dire matter clearly affects all Dealers, whether they are “rejected,” “wind down,” or “move forward.”
We firmly believe that Dealers deserve to be heard. We all want GM and Chrysler to succeed, but without enough Dealers, they are in serious danger of collapse. Even if you are a “move forward” Dealer, make no mistake, we are all at risk for this will set such an insecure and troubling precedent for all of us and our futures.
If you have not yet supported our group, The Committee to Restore Dealer’s Rights (CRDR), we are asking for your contribution to assist in our efforts. Currently, our plan is to continue with our personal efforts and engage in some media awareness in the month of August during recess. In addition, we need to continue our efforts in Washington. Whether you can contribute $1000, $2000, $3000, $5000 or more, we really need support in order that we can maximize our efforts.
It is our understanding that Dealers collectively contributed over $1.4 million to Squire, Sanders & Dempsey and ended up with nothing. So far, our results are indicative of the tremendous progress we have made. You can be sure that our funding goes directly to legal fees and public relations. Time is definitely critical so we need insure we do not have a break in our efforts. We do not have much time to protect our dealers, but the effects of our success or failure of this legislation will obviously linger in our industry for many years.
If you are able to contribute, it is as simple as clicking the “Donate” button below to give your contribution through Pay Pal. Please make sure to provide us with your name, phone number, e-mail and address so we can keep you informed. Or, you may send your check to CRDR LLC at 150 East Bridge Street, Elyria, OH 44035. You can also call us toll free at 1-877-740-CRDR (2737) to donate by credit card. We truly hope that you will agree to give this matter high priority. There is too much at stake here, and we have a small window of time to do what needs to be done to make a difference.
Thank you very much for attention and consideration of this very urgent matter.
Sincerely,
The Committee to Restore Dealer Rights
